This is the web diary of Hugh Hanley SCJ. He is a priest member of the Sacred Heart Fathers (Dehonians). He is the Director and chaplain of Project 2030, which enables Catholics in their 20s and 30s to get together for a variety of social and spiritual events. There
are separate groups for Twentysomethings and for Thirtysomethings in and around
London, Dublin, the West of Scotland and North-West England/N Wales.
This diary describes some of his work with and for the groups, as
well as other personal experiences and thoughts.
More details of the group (newsletters, reports, etc) can be found on www.project2030.org.uk - the groups are open to any Catholic in their 20s or 30s, or to anyone of those ages who respects the Catholic ethos of the group. The groups have local events on average once a week (walks, talks, meals, evenings out, retreats etc). Some events are joint between the 20s and 30s and there are also main events between all the groups in Britain and Ireland (see below). If
you are in your 20s or 30s and would like to come along to anything we arrange
email hugh@project2030.fsnet.co.uk
and we’ll put you on the mailing list. There
is no subscription fee. Simply ask
to be put on a mailing list and you are a member.
Come to things when you can. Send
